Sara will meet you before your appointment with the dentist to discuss your hopes (and fears!!) about your visit and will help you to relax a little by taking you to the dental surgery and staying with you throughout your assessment.
Sara will then take the dentists recommendations and discuss all the options available to you to help us deliver the smile of your dreams. We know that’s its sometimes easier to talk to someone who is not a dentist about all the ins and outs of all the different options. This way you get all your questions answered in a relaxing way with Sara.
In Sara’s own words “I accepted the treatment coordinator post because I thought it was a big step forward for our patients. I have 23 years dental nursing experience and I like nothing more than chatting to people I meet at the surgery and if I can help with questions regarding treatments then everyone wins , so come along bring a friend and say hello”.

The Dental Hygienists
Dental hygienists play an essential role in preventative dentistry. They are skilled professionals who have a key part to play in the prevention and treatment of gum disease. Gum disease is the biggest single cause of adult tooth loss and a problem which we take very seriously.
They also have a very important part to play in preventing tooth decay by providing oral health education, fissure sealing teeth and fluoride treatments.
Use them to increase your awareness of how to prevent dental disease. They are highly trained professionals and not just there to clean teeth!
As patients keep their teeth for longer the emphasis on dentistry is changing from treatment to prevention and hygienists are one of the most important personnel in delivering this change.
The Dental Nurses
Where would we be without our dental surgery assistants! Their training provides them with the skills to assist the dentist deliver your treatment and care. But that's only the beginning! As the name suggests they are so much more than a dental nurse. From personal assistant to patient councillor they provide a vital role in making sure your visit is as pleasant as possible.
