Anti-wrinkle
Anti-wrinkle relaxants are a commonly used and highly effective and increasingly popular way to eliminate wrinkles and have younger looking skin. They are used mainly in the upper face to eliminate frown lines, crows feet and other facial wrinkles.

How does it work?
A few small injections to the targeted area blocks the signal from your brain to the nerve endings. So as you laugh or frown, the skin becomes smoother whilst the untreated facial muscles work as normal and most importantly your individual facial expressions are not affected.
The results vary from patient to patient and often take around 7 days or so to appear, although it could take between 2 - 3 weeks for the full effects to appear. The treated area will appear smoother and with less wrinkles and creases. This should generally last for about three to four months although top up treatments prolong the effects.
What kind of results can I expect?
Treatment will help in maintaining a more youthful appearance. However, this procedure will not affect any static wrinkles that are unrelated to facial contraction. Results from independent clinical trials and patient experience suggest that the longevity of the effects increase over time so you may need fewer on-going treatments, but this will vary with each patient.
How we carry out the treatment?
The injections are a simple, safe and effective procedure. A very small amount is used with a very fine needle and injected into several locations in the face, depending on the treatment required. We use the anti-wrinkle product Obagi Nu-Derm System. There is minimal pain associated with the injections and normally no sedation or local anaesthetic is required, but this again is down to patient choice after close consultation with the practitioner
Combination of anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments has reduced lines around the eyes, forehead and mouth.
